A slower way to see the world

Green Hat Travel curates a limited number of intimate journeys each year for those who prefer presence over pace.

We don’t design trips around packed schedules or constant movement.
Instead, we create space to rest, to notice, to connect, and to experience a place as it truly is.

Every detail is handled quietly in the background, so your time feels effortless and your days unfold naturally.

Kansas City Jazz Immersion

Kansas City Jazz Immersion

A Curated Cultural Weekend with Green Hat Travel

Step into the sound, history, and atmosphere of Kansas City jazz during an intimate hosted weekend designed for connection, culture, and late-night music.

This small-group experience blends historic venues, local cuisine, and chauffeured evenings with the warmth of a private retreat setting. From smoky Kansas City barbecue and Boulevard beer to candlelit jazz clubs and basement performances, each moment is intentionally curated to capture the spirit of the city.

Green Hat’s Kansas City Jazz Immersion is not a tour.
It is a hosted cultural salon — shared with a small circle of guests who value music, place, and meaningful travel.

Resort pool area with lounge chairs and palm trees under a clear sky.
A luxurious meal setup inside an airplane with a glass of champagne, a bottle of champagne, and a plate of salad on a white tablecloth.

A quieter way to see the world

Green Hat Travel was created for those who believe the best journeys aren’t rushed.

We design a small number of thoughtfully hosted trips each year intimate, unhurried experiences shaped around comfort, presence, and genuine connection. Every detail is handled with care so you can arrive, exhale, and simply be.

This isn’t tourism built around checklists or packed schedules.
It’s travel at a human pace.

Time to linger over long meals.
Time to wander without agenda.
Time to rest, notice, and feel somewhere fully.

Meet Your Host

Hi, I’m Lauren, the founder and host behind Green Hat Travel.

I design small, thoughtfully hosted trips centered on place, pacing, and care for people who want to travel with intention rather than rush.

I’m also transgender. I’m sharing this for clarity and transparency, so guests know who they’re traveling with. My goal as a host is to create experiences that feel calm, respectful, and grounded, where people can show up as themselves and feel well looked after.

Green Hat grew out of years of travel, listening, and learning how to move through places thoughtfully. I work closely with local guides, drivers, and hosts, and I prioritize smaller groups, slower days, and experiences that leave room to breathe.

If that sounds like your kind of travel, I’d love to host you
